Sonshine Childcare Centre (SCC) was set up in 1991 at Blk 211 Bukit Batok St 21 #01-252 Singapore 650211. The Vision is to be a blessing to the residents of Bukit Batok who have young children. Our objectives are to provide a learning program necessary to succeed in school through creativity, language proficiency and a good communication, good habits of cleanliness and good manners, developing a sense of self reliance and responsibility, and to teach the children to obey rules and regulations laid down for their own good and the good of others.

After the initial “ground breaking” years of establishing ourselves in the community, SCC now enjoys excellent response from the residents. Every year, we have a long list of children wanting tobe enrolled in our Centre. In 1997, we were blessed by the authorities with additional floor space which increased our enrolment by 50% to 119 children. However, we are still faced with a “good problem” of having a long list of children in the queue waiting to be accepted into SCC.

SCC is staffed by well qualified teachers who are devoted to their vocation and ministry toward the precious children who are entrusted to us by their parents. We help the children learn through work and play in a happy and homely atmosphere while their parents are at work. We nurture the children in their developmental years through their journey of discovery in an all important environment of tender loving care.
